Data Deletion
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This page explains how to delete your data from reev.to. We are an AI content generation and planning platform that connects to platforms you authorize (such as YouTube and Instagram) to publish the videos you create and schedule; the data we hold for you is limited to what's needed to operate the Service.
1. Delete your entire reev.to account
The fastest way to delete every piece of data we hold about you:
- Sign in to reev.to.
- Go to Account → Delete account.
- Confirm the action.
This will, in one step: cancel any active subscription with our payment provider, delete any videos you have stored with us, revoke all stored social-platform tokens, and remove every personal-data row associated with your account.
2. Disconnect a single social platform
If you only want us to stop holding your Google/YouTube or Meta/Instagram data — without deleting the rest of your account — you can disconnect a single platform from the Socials page.
- Sign in to reev.to.
- Go to Socials.
- Click Disconnect on the platform you want to remove.
Disconnecting revokes our stored access and refresh tokens for that platform and deletes the associated row from our database.
3. Email a deletion request
If you can't sign in (for example, you've already lost access to your account), email us from the address associated with your account:
- To: privacy@reev.to
- Subject:
Data Deletion Request - Body: a one-line confirmation that you want your reev.to data deleted.
We’ll action the request within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
4. Meta / Instagram data — automatic deletion
When you remove the reev.to app from your Facebook or Instagram account’s connected-apps settings, Meta automatically sends us a signed deletion request. On receipt we delete the data row holding your Instagram connection (access token, account id, username, follower count) and return a confirmation code to Meta. You can verify your deletion by visiting the URL Meta provides, which loads this page with an ?id=<code> parameter.
5. What we don’t delete
- Content already published. Videos uploaded to your YouTube or Instagram account stay on those platforms under your control. To remove them, delete them on YouTube/Instagram.
- Billing records. A minimal accounting record of past payments may be retained as required for tax and legal compliance.
