Reev Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how reev.to ("reev.to", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). reev.to is an AI content generation and planning tool that lets you create AI-generated videos from templates and schedule them to your own connected YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok accounts via a visual calendar. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by reev.to. We are an AI content generation and planning platform: we use third-party AI providers to generate videos from the templates and prompts you create, and we connect to platforms you authorize (such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok) to publish that content on your behalf according to the schedule you set. We do not create, own, endorse, or review the content you choose to generate or publish.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier.
- Content inputs. The prompts, template names, scheduled dates and times, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and other settings you enter.
- Support communications. Information you send us by email or other channels.
2.2 Information from connected platforms
- Google / YouTube. OAuth access and refresh tokens, your channel identifier, channel/subscriber statistics, and upload status — used solely to upload the videos you ask us to publish and to display your channel information back to you.
- Meta / Instagram. OAuth access tokens, your account/business identifier, account statistics (such as follower counts), and publishing status — used solely to publish the content you ask us to publish and to display your account information back to you.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Usage and log data. Job status, credit transactions, timestamps, error logs, and basic device/browser information needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Product analytics (with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, we use PostHog to collect usage data — pages viewed, in-app actions, approximate location (derived from IP), and device/browser information — to understand how the Service is used and improve it. We identify your activity only by your internal account identifier, not your email. Analytics is off until you accept and can be declined or changed at any time via “Manage cookies” in the footer.
- Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management are always used. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent. We do not use advertising cookies.
2.4 Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. We do not collect or store your full card details. We retain limited billing records (such as customer and subscription identifiers and transaction history) needed for accounting and to manage your credit wallet.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating videos and publishing them to your connected accounts.
- To authenticate you and keep your account and connections secure.
- To manage credits, subscriptions, top-ups, and refunds.
- To display your channel/account information and posting history back to you.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. YouTube API Services
4.1 What YouTube data we access
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the channel you explicitly connect.
- Your channel identifier and channel title.
- Channel statistics (subscriber count).
- The upload and processing status of videos you ask us to publish.
4.2 How we use and process it
- Uploading. We use your tokens solely to upload the videos you have created and scheduled, to the channel you connected, at the time you chose.
- Displaying. We display your channel title and subscriber count back to you inside the app so you can confirm which channel is connected.
- Storing. Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only by our servers. We refresh stored YouTube statistics at least every 30 days, and any statistic older than 30 days is deleted from our systems.
- Nothing else. We do not use YouTube data to train AI models, for advertising, or for profiling, and no human reads it unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated/anonymized.
4.3 Who we share it with
- Internal parties. Only reev personnel and internal systems that need the data to operate the Service. Access is least-privilege and tokens remain encrypted.
- External parties. Google/YouTube itself (to publish the video you scheduled), and the infrastructure sub-processors that store or transmit the data on our behalf: Supabase (database and storage) and our cloud hosting provider (application and workers). YouTube data is not shared with our AI providers (fal.ai), our payment provider (Dodo Payments), or our analytics provider (PostHog).
- Never. We do not sell, rent, or transfer YouTube data to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party, except where required by law.
4.4 Limited Use
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum Google/YouTube permissions needed to upload videos to channels you explicitly connect.
5. Meta / Instagram data
When you connect an Instagram account through Meta, we use the access we receive only to publish the content you request and to show your account information back to you. We use this data in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell Meta data or use it for advertising.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Connected platforms you authorize (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) — to publish your content.
- Service providers (sub-processors) that help us operate, such as:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage;
- fal.ai — AI model providers used to generate videos;
- Dodo Payments — payment processing;
- PostHog — product analytics (only with your consent);
- cloud hosting providers — to run our application and workers.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. Data retention
- Generated videos. A generated video file is deleted from our storage as soon as it is published to your connected platform — where it then lives under your control. Videos you generate but do not publish are automatically deleted from our storage after 30 days. We may retain a small thumbnail image to show your posting history.
- Account & connection data. Retained while your account is active and your connections remain authorized.
- Platform statistics. Statistics we retrieve from connected platforms — such as your YouTube subscriber count — are refreshed at least every 30 days. Any statistic older than 30 days is automatically deleted from our systems and is only re-fetched from the platform when it is next needed. We never store or display platform statistics for longer than 30 days.
- Billing records. Retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
8. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect a platform. You can disconnect YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok at any time from your account settings, which revokes our stored tokens for that platform.
- Delete your account. You can delete your account from the account settings page. This cancels any active subscription, deletes your stored videos, and removes your account data from our systems.
- Access, correction, deletion. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
- Revoke Google access directly via Google Account permissions.
- Revoke TikTok access from your TikTok profile → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.
9. Data deletion instructions
To request deletion of your data, either (a) use the “Delete account” option in your account settings, or (b) email us at privacy@reev.to with the subject “Data Deletion Request” from the email associated with your account. We will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices for stored credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes may be communicated through the Service.
